On March 17, the Centro de Capacitación Laboral Virgen del Rosario Fe y Alegría in Aragua state, inaugurated the barbering project co-founded by Gloria Rattia, a participant in the Formación de Formadores (Training of Trainers), a project carried out as part of the Beauty for a future (Belleza por un Futuro) program, thanks to the support of Trabajo y Persona together with L’Oréal Venezuela.
The Barbershop Salon Virgen del Rosario project aims to provide basic and professional training in the area of beauty. Once the participants pass the basic barbering course, they can do an internship in the corresponding facilities to demonstrate the knowledge acquired previously and to have better development in the techniques of their trade.
On the day of the event, during which a bakery course was also inaugurated, a prayer and a distance hug dynamic were held; in addition, those present cut the traditional ribbon that marks the beginning of the project. Afterward, customers were served until noon, following all biosafety measures.
Actions such as these promote the growth of job training centers and the training of young people in vulnerable situations. Likewise, it promotes the message of always continuing to instruct people in different trades and jobs, under the values of honesty, respect, solidarity, and responsibility, without circumstances such as the one being experienced today in the country and in the rest of the world stopping the positive impact in favor of the communities.
